I have always had a love for scarves, but never really used them in a creative way.  Recently, I have discovered a new love for incorporating them into my outfits.  They are possibly the perfect accessory- colorful, versatile, and practical.  I particularly love using longer silk scarves as headbands, like I have in this outfit.  Let’s just say that I intend on getting pretty creative with scarves this season, so look out! 😉

With fall weather comes a handful of dreary days that make you want to wear sweatpants all day. Though you may be inclined to stay inside, most, unfortunately, do not have the luxury of avoiding bad weather by bunkering down in their home. These are the days when one of the biggest challenges awaits: making comfortable clothing chic. I ditched my sweatpants and tee for a J Crew ensemble that has enough textural contrast to keep it interesting. My outfit choices not only kept me comfortable, but they potentially saved other items in my closet, like my calf skin leopard flats, from being ruined by the rain.

XOXO,
